Eagles & Eccentricities

The National Archives-Central Plains Region is hosting a show of antique quilts. Partisan Pieces: Quilts of Political and Patriotic Persuasion, curated by Kathy Moore, is from the collection of the International Quilt Study Center & Museum.

They have asked Barbara Brackman to give a talk on Thursday July 1st. The event begins at 6 and the program begins at 6:30. The plan is a Powerpoint lecture on the eagle image in quilts with a small trunk show of reproduction eagle quilts from the Sunflower Pattern Co-operative.

The National Archives is near Union Station at 400 West Pershing Rd.
