June Program: Our Own Kelly Ashton

Kelly at Quilt Market

The June 16th and 17th speaker is Kelly Ashton from Overland Park.
The lecture:

Layer Cakes, Turnovers & Jelly Rolls! Oh My!
The Pleasures and Pitfalls of Working With Fabric Pre-Cuts

"Perhaps you’ve eyed all those interesting fabric pre-cuts (Charm Packs, Layer Cakes, Jelly Rolls, Turnovers, Candy Bars, etc.), but said to yourself, “Now, what would I do with THAT ?! ?! ?!”  Or, “What’s up with those little pinked edges???” Or, “Is there really enough fabric there to DO anything with?”  Sound familiar?  Well, Kelly will share tips and tricks for working effectively with these fabric “sweet treats” – and show LOTS of quilts made from the same!"
